Dragon Ball Z Multiverse Manga History to The Latest Evolution
Dragon Ball Z Multiverse Manga
The hype of Dragon Ball Z Multiverse Manga is still alive, many of fans are creating their mangas by themselves. Of course, this is without the authorization of the owner of Dragon Ball. However, this is something common. Dragon Ball left a really good mouth taste in everybody, and almost everybody wants more and more.
The most famous manga made by a fan is Dragon Ball Multiverse. It’s better known as DBM, and it’s a fan-made sequel of the authentic and original Dragon Ball Manga. The manga is made by Salagir who is the author and co-creator and by Gogeta Jr. who is the responsible artist of its creation on paper and the co-creator along with Salagir.
The plot is on the same time-period of Dragon Ball Z, exactly 10 years after. It has some similarities with Dragon Ball GT because its plot is developed on various universes. There are up to 20 universes in total and a final tournament in the universe 0.
For example, in Universe 7, the story remains the same, up until the battle with the evil tyrant, Freeza, in which in order to defeat him, every single Namekian decided to fuse together, creating enough power to wipe him out.
The product of this to create one “Super Namekian,” was known as Gast Carcolh. Apparently, he was also strong enough to defeat Cell, and also Majin Buu. In the early first part of the manga before the tournament had begun, when he was first introduced, Nail said that after defeating Freeza, he defeated a “Lizard man,” and a “Pink demon.”
Rewards for the winner? The winner will receive three wishes from the Namekian Dragon Porunga, from their universe, as well as if needed, to use Dragon Balls from the other universes too.
The tournament is hosted by the Organizers (Kaioshins, otherwise known as the “Supreme Kais”), and that after the tournament is over and the winner is determined, they would grant the winner their prize, and then lastly decide to permanently close all links to all of the universes for good.
The manga has over 50 chapters or 1,200 pages. Its creators also have a website where you find the manga completely for free impressive yet, translated into a huge repertory of languages (up to 32).
The series has also been produced in a novel-based format, alongside their original manga format. However, in the manga format, unlike the traditional way of reading manga, which is right to left, the duo had decided to publish it in the left to the right structure of reading it, even if you decide to read the fan comic in Japanese.
Roughly the combined duo’s efforts put out about 3 pages each week. As well as this, they also ask their assistants and what not to create specials. These are the many universes the duo has created within the story.
This manga is really complicated because each universe can be seen as an alternative timeline, named as Multiverse Theory. What does it mean? Each universe has the same history, but with some changes on the story depending on the universe.
